Google News Initiative launched its Data & Insights training program

Up to eight publishers from the area can participate in the three-month-long Data & Insights Launchpad training program, which provides a hands-on and intense experience. Publishers who are interested in participating must have operated a digital business for at least two years and receive at least 250,000 visits per month.

Participating publishers will have a thorough understanding of the value of data and the need to invest in a data team, tools, and platforms through the digital program.

Participants will also receive special 1:1 support for their data teams as part of the initiative from GNI partner, digital consultancy FT Strategies. They will also gain knowledge from other participants' shared experiences in addition to Google and FT Strategies.

By August 17, 2022, applications must be submitted online via the official Google News Initiative website.
