vivo announces a new smartphone that will join the Y-series called the Y52t which has a MediaTek chip and big storage options.
Just like its lineup, the handset adopts the rectangular flat surface design on the rear with the familiar boxy camera island that houses 2 sensors. The smartphone is available in three colorways—Ice Lake Blue, Coconut Palm Peach, and Shine in the Dark.
Upfront, it uses a dewdrop notch with a thin bezel on the sides and a thick chin bezel below.
The display uses a 6.51-inch LCD with 1600 x 720 HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and an 88.99 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Inside it has a 7nm 2.0GHz MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 GPU. It is also paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of memory space.
The battery uses a 5,000mAh size which charges using USB-C and a standard 10W power adaptor.
The camera side uses 13MP for the main, followed by a 2MP macro helper and an 8MP for selfie shooting.
Other features mentioned are a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the connectivity side, it has 5G, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM card support.
Meanwhile, the software runs Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean as its skin.
