Done deal, finally?

To recap, Musk originally purchased Twitter for USD 44 billion in late April 2022. However, he canceled the deal as the company has not provided the information that he requested (he was misled over the number of fake "bot" accounts, which Twitter denied) and had other several reasons.
Musk is the new Chief Twit

But just recently, he had a change of heart, and today, they have finally reached a deal making the purchase likely official.

According to the billionaire, he is buying Twitter "because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner."

On Tuesday, Musk also Tweeted: "Buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app."

Elon Musk also updated his Twitter profile and added "Chief Twit" to his description.

After buying Twitter, US media The Washington Postrealed that several executives were fired. One of them is  Vijaya Gadde, the head of legal policy, trust, and safety.

Meanwhile, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal and finance chief Ned Segal have left the company's San Francisco headquarters and will not be returning according to the sources of CNCB.

What do you guys think?
