Maya app can now scan AUB, GCash, Metrobank, and Unionbank QR Ph codes

Paying for your in-store purchases is now easier with Maya. Maya can now scan more QR Ph-powered QR codes across the Philippines.

Maya announced that you can now scan AUB, GCash, Metrobank, and Unionbank QR codes on its app.

To recap, QR Ph is the national QR standard, launched by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. If you’re shopping and you spot the QR Ph logo featuring the blue, red, and yellow design, you can scan to pay with your Maya app.

In the same way, customers can also scan the Maya QR code using the apps of the aforementioned e-wallets and banks should they make the feature available.

Maya is the first Philippine fintech app to adopt the QR Ph national standard.
