LG to present new colors for refrigerator w/ MoodUP at CES 2023

The annual CES is coming soon in early January next year and LG is going to show up a new colorway for its MoodUP refrigerator.

LG to showcase MoodUP Refrigerator at CES 2023

LG collaborated with the world-renowned Pantone Color Institute to bring in the "Viva Magenta" which was touted as the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 to its refrigerator products.

Now with Pantone Color of the Year 2023, Viva Magenta, the refrigerator with MoodUP epitomizes the convenience and customizability of LG's innovative ThinQ UP appliances. We will continue to develop advanced lifestyle solutions offering differentiated customer experiences and unprecedented upgradability, said Lyu Jae-Cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company.

According to them, the crimson red symbolizes brave and fearlessness that adds excitement and drama to your home design and can energize any setting with its dynamic vibrancy.

LG says with the inclusion of the newest Viva Magenta there are now up to 23 fashionable color combinations buyers can choose from.

Owners of the 4-Door French-Door variant have access to more than 190,000 different color combinations, allowing them to mix and match according to their liking.

Users may also modify and choose the color they prefer using the LG ThinQ app. This is LG's innovative idea, which uses LED color-changeable door panels allowing customers to personalize the appearance of their refrigerator without incurring the expense or inconvenience of physically replacing any of its exterior components.

If the user prefers a traditional look, just simply turn off the MoodUP LED panel and it will revert to Lux Gray and Lux White colors.
