Meet Anker 733 Power Bank - A new 65W fast-charging brick/combo in PH for PHP 5,995!

This is a 2-in-1 charger boasting a hybrid 65W wall charger and a 10,000mAh battery at the same time. This retails for PHP 5,995 and is available in Anker stores, partner retail stores, and even online like Lazada.

Moreover, it has 2x USB-C and 1x USB-A ports with PoweriQ 3.0 adaptive charging tech and universal compatibility that can power 1,000+ devices. This simply means that it works even for Apple devices and won't damage low-powered AIoT devices when charging such as TWS buds.

Just take note that the max 65W fast charging only works when you are using the device as a wall charger. Meaning, it needs to be plugged in before it can fast charge devices like laptops with support for 65W fast charging.

With Wall Charger and Portable Charger (power bank) modes...

In power bank mode, it has a top speed of 30W on single-port charging. That can still charge some laptops, but slower. For two-port and three-port charging, it has up to 15W of speed.

In our test, it can charge my iPhone 13 Pro up to 2x while still having enough juice to charge my HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 true wireless earphones.

We also used it in supported laptops such as MacBooks or other Windows laptops with lower 65W charging requirements like MateBooks, iPhones, all the Android phones we are currently testing, and other devices such as cameras and other TWS buds.

Plenty of protection tech!

To ensure that the power bank is safe to use, Anker added Short-Circuit, Overload, Over-Temperature, and Over-Voltage protection solutions. This also has Real-Time Protection with ActiveShield 2.0 tech that monitors temperature 3 million times per day ensuring that the device is safe to use even when plugged in for 24 hours.

It measures just 110.8 x 64 x 31 mm and weighs 320 grams. It isn't that big and heavy making it quite portable overall.

Quick thoughts

We've been using the power bank/brick for more than a month already and the experience is as good as advertised so far.

It doesn't have the fastest charging around nor has the biggest battery capacity allowed on flights, but this is fast enough for most people who don't want to carry huge battery packs.

The weakness it has versus other 65W battery packs is it needs to be plugged in before experiencing its fastest charging speed and it is on the pricier side at just 10,000mAh for PHP 5,995.

Other than that, you are paying PHP 5,995 for Anker's overall reliability and quality.

What do you guys think?
