After Apple revived the notch software feature more Android companies are seeing its potential. This time though, it will be realme.
While Apple originally copied the concept from HONOR, let's all admit it, it wasn't as popular back then. However, the Cupertino-based firm brought it back but this time with more effective implementation and marketing.
With that, more Android makers are expected to follow. And so it begins, realme is going to have its own Dynamic Island based on the leaked images that surfaced online.
The photo showed an elongated shape on the top of the screen with a "SuperVOOC" charging notification as well as battery percentage information.
Rumor suggests that this feature is going to be present on a C-series device or also known as in the budget category since the brand's CEO hinted that there will be a pill-like camera cutout on a phone.
It is also believed that we may likely see it on the fast-approaching MWC 2023.
For now, it is still unknown whether 3rd party apps can take advantage of realme's Dynamic Island since only the charging and battery notifications are shown.
The question is, will realme do it better than anyone else? Or are they gonna flop with it?
What do you guys think?
