vivo X90s launched: Dimensity 9200+, 120Hz AMOLED, 50MP Sony IMX866 camera!

After weeks of teasing, vivo officially announces the X90s smartphone which will join its high-end X-series.

vivo didn't change much when it comes to design, it still has that slim form factor. There are choices of the leather design if you pick the Red and Black colorway while picking White or Green glass-like material.

The display

At the front, it has a centered dot notch on the 6.78-inch curved AMOLED with 2800 x 1260 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 105 percent NTSC color gamut, and HDR support. The screen also has a 93.53 percent screen-to-body ratio and a contrast ratio of 8000000:1. Furthermore, the screen supports 1.07 billion colors and has a pixel density of 452 ppi.

Inside, the device is upgraded to 4nm MTK Dimensity 9200+ SoC with 11-core Immortalis-G715 GPU. Moreover, it also has a self-developed image chip V2 for advanced image processing.

The features

The chipset is paired with  8 or 12GB LPDDR5X four-channel RAM for smooth multitasking and comes with 256GB UFS 4.0 storage.

When it comes to battery, the device has 4810mAh and charges using USB-C 120W fast charging.

On the camera side, the phone has a 50MP IMX866 primary shooter + 12MP professional portrait camera + 12MP ultra-wide angle camera. While for selfies, it uses 32MP f/2.45 front-facing shooter with 2x digital zoom.

Other features noted are the IP64 rating, In-Display fingerprint reader, stereo speaker, and infrared sensor.

For connectivity, the phone has 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM support.

For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0.

The phone is now available in China, however, there's no news yet for other regions. We will update you once it arrives in PH.
