vivo S17 and S17t launched: 120Hz AMOLED, 50MP rear and front cameras with Aura Light ring flash!
vivo has announced the new S17 and S17t equipped with a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 50MP rear, and selfie cameras with Aura Light ring flash.

A teaser for the upcoming global V29 series?
Alongside the S17 Pro, vivo also introduced the vanilla S17 and S17t. These two are nearly identical except for the processors. The vanilla S17 comes with the 6nm Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor with the Adreno 642L while the S17t comes with the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8050 octa-core processor with ARM G77 MC9 GPU.
In front of the phone is the 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 2800 x 1260 resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 100 percent coverage of the DCI P3 color gamut.
Alongside the processor are the 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging.
At the back of both phones are the 50MP f/2.0 primary camera with OIS, and a 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with an Aura Light LED ring flash. While in front is a 50MP f/2.0 selfie camera with dual soft LED flash.
Other features include an In-Display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, WiFi 6, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM slots.
It measures 164.18 x 74.37 x 7.46 mm and weighs 186 grams. It will run on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.
The phones will come in either Mountain Sea Green, Black, or Pink.

vivo S17 12GB/256GB - CNY 2,799 (around PHP 22.1K)
vivo S17t 12GB/512GB - CNY 2,999 (around PHP 23.7K)
The phones are available for pre-order now and will go on sale on June 8, 2023, in China. These phones are not expected to arrive globally but could be the basis for the upcoming vivo V29 series.
