vivo S17 Pro launched: 120Hz AMOLED, Dimensity 8200, and 50MP rear cameras!
vivo has unveiled the S17 series where the Pro variant comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, and a 50MP primary camera with a Sony sensor.

S for stunning design?
The Pro variant of the S17 series uses the industry's first 'particle ink' technology that combines classical painting with modern technology and vividly interprets new oriental aesthetics. The rear design comes with 15 million star-like particles that flow on the back of the phone.
In front is the 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 2800 x 1260 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.
Inside is the 4nm 3.1GHz MediaTek Dimensity 8200 octa-core processor, Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,600mAh battery with USB-C 80W fast wired charging.
At the back of the phone are the 50MP f/2.0 primary camera with Sony IMX766V sensor, and OIS, the 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle camera, and a 12MP f/1.98 2x telephoto portrait camera with an LED flash and Aura Light (ring) flash.
In front is the 50MP f/2.0 selfie camera with AF and dual-soft LED flash.
Other features include an In-Display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and dual nano SIM slots.
The phone measures 164.18 x 74.37 x 7.46 mm and weighs 188 grams.
Lastly, it will be running on Android 13-based OriginOS 3 and will come in either Mountain Sea Green, Black, or Ice White colorways.

The phone is now available for pre-order and will be available for purchase on June 8, 2023.
These smartphones are not expected to arrive globally but could be the basis for the upcoming vivo V29 series.
