HUAWEI MateBook D 14 2023 launched in PH!

To start, the MateBook D14 2023 retains the metallic sleek form factor like its previous iterations.

16:10 aspect ratio

While it comes with the same size as a 14-inch FHD display, HUAWEI changed it a bit from a 16:9 aspect ratio to now 16:10. They also improved the screen-to-body ratio from 84 percent to 90 percent, giving more screen space to users. Additionally, it has 45 percent NTSC color space, 300 nits peak brightness, and a 1200:1 contrast ratio.

The features

Inside, it now uses the 12th gen Intel Core i5-1240P processor with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.

When it comes to memory, the laptop features 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD.

For battery, the laptop boasts a 56WHr large capacity which the brand claims can deliver 13 hours of video playback. While it can be charged using the 65W adaptor and 1.8 meters USB-C to USB-C cable.

The brand also included a 720p web camera for your video conferences.

For ports, it has 1x USB-C port full function, 1x USB-A 2.0, 1x HDMI,  and 1x  3.5mm audio jack.

For wireless connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.2. HUAWEI also boasts improved WiFi through the new Metaline Antenna with 38 percent faster file downloading, minus 40 percent delay on video calls, and less than 69 percent delay on online gaming.

Lastly, the device runs Windows 11 Home 64bit.
