There were a ton of capable, powerful and eye-catching smartphones that were released in the first half of 2023. One device stood out and it remained one of our favourites is the OnePlus 11.

Below are the reasons why we argue that the OnePlus 11 should be considered as your next smartphone for the latter half of 2023.

Flagship Specs - In our full review of the OnePlus 11, we lauded the device for offering top-tier specs like 120Hz 10-bit LTPO SuperFlui AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, 5,000mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC charging, and powerful cameras (more than that below) for under PHP 46K starting price.

It was a true return to its roots as the favorite of tech enthusiasts.

2. Hasselblad cameras - The phone is equipped with a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with IMX890, multi-autofocus, and 5-axis OIS, a 48MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle camera with IMX581 sensor, and a 32MP f/2.0 telephoto camera with IMX709 sensor with an LED flash.

3. OnePlus promises 5 years of updates - In December 2022, OPPO and OnePlus Operating System Product Head Gary Chen publicly pledged that some of the company's upcoming 2023 devices will offer 4 major OS updates and will receive bimonthly security upgrades.

4. Reasonable price, sometimes discounted - As we mentioned above the OnePlus 11 offers some of the best price-to-spec and performance ratio that was released in 2023. The phone is priced at PHP 45,990 for the 8GB/128GB model while the 16GB/256GB variant is priced at PHP 49,999. You may also find the phone at a discount if promotions are going on.
