Canva Philippines held Negosyatrends Expo 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia where design experts offer one-on-one consultations to the masses!

Aside from the one-on-one consultation, visitors were encouraged to interact with the booths and to engage in design activities which Canva says will benefit entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.

Visitors were also treated to a fire-side chat with Rags2Riches president co-founder Reese Fernandez-Ruiz, Yardstick Coffee head of product and co-founder Andre Chanco, and senior creative for photography at Canva and Guppy PH local beach wear brand owner Cara Paguio. The discussion touched upon topics like starting and managing a business, building a brand, implementing innovations, and nurturing communities.

“Negosyantrends marks an exciting time for Canva Philippines. It is our first face-to-face event since the pandemic and a testament to our stronger commitment to Pinoy negosyantes. It’s very inspiring to witness how Canva has empowered businesses, and we look forward to where this new chapter takes us,” Maisie Littaua, Canva Philippines Head of Marketing and Growth said.

They also touched upon their favourite Canva features including its media library with over 100 million visual and audio assets users can choose from and Canva's Visual Suite which offers end-to-end design solutions for Business owners. 

Other features you may not know that Canva offers are the Whiteboard for team collaboration, the Canva Presentation, and the Canva online video editor.

The interactive stations included design playgrounds like the Brand Classroom, where event attendees got a 15-minute consultation with a brand expert; and the Sari-sari Street, where select businesses showcased and sold their products.
