Google's own version of the subscription service silently launched in the Philippines.
To recap, this is the Android equivalent of Apple Arcade, a subscription service that provides access to countless paid apps on the Google Play platform.
Meaning to say, you can install multiple paid apps at once without paying them one by one. This can be beneficial to those who want to enjoy different paid apps by subscribing to the service only.
Google said that there will be new additions to the service every month and promises there won't be any ads and no additional in-app purchases.
The tech giant also noted that users must also look out for the apps with Play Pass badge throughout the PlayStore a sign that they are included in the subscription service.
Google also continued that "some games and apps sell digital items or services that add to your experience, like in-game currently or special skins. With Play Pass, any in-app purchases will be made available to you at no charge"
Finally, the subscription can be shared with your family by up to 5 members at no charge. Google said that a Play Pass account must simply be activated on their account.
Google Play Pass per month - PHP 109 + tax
Google Play Pass 1 year - PHP 999 + tax
You can head to your Googe Play Store, press your account, and head to the Play Pass section (below the library section) to avail and view the service. Do note you can view it only for mobile and not on PC web browsers at the moment.
What do you guys think?
