LEAK: Samsung Exynos 2400 key details emerges, will feature 10-core CPU!

Some key details for the upcoming Exynos 2400 processor have emerged on the web recently.

AntTuTu China website has predicted that Samsung is going to use its proprietary processor for the upcoming Galaxy S24 series next year. It is rumored to debut in European, African, and some Asian countries.

Anyways, the details leaked suggest it will use 4nm lithography from Samsung, and it will feature a 10-core CPU with a 1 + 2 +3 + 4 core design.

The primary Cortex-X4 is clocked at 3.1GHz, while the duo cluster will consist of Cortex-A720 cores with 2.9GHz frequency. There will also be 3x Cortex-A720 clocked at 2.6GHz while for minimal tasks there will be 4x Cortex-A520 cores that sit at 1.8GHz speeds. All of these are based on ARMV9 architecture.

When it comes to graphics, the said chip is rumored to feature Xclipse 940 GPU that will boast 2x higher graphics compute units versus AMD's RDNA 2 technology. In comparison, the previous Xclipse 920 had 3x workgroup processors with 2x compute units. The Eclipse 940 is expected to have 6x WGPs with a total of 12 GPU cores instead. 

Right now it is still unknown whether that would suffice to compete with the likes of SD8G3 and other SoC competitors. But they do sound like huge leaps judging from the spec sheet.

Finally, it is said to support LPDDR5X RAm and UFS 4.0 memory, while it will support a new ISP that can handle 320MP cameras and shoot 8K video quality at 60fps. While it is also expected to be integrated with Exynos 5300 modem.
