A new "budol" site for Filipinos

Recently, Temu, an online marketplace, entered the Southeast Asian market starting with the Philippines. Reports said it launched on Saturday, August 26.

Temu is operated by Chinese company PDD Holdings.

The e-commerce platform functions just like Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok shop, its biggest competitors in the Philippines.

It offers various products, like women's and men's fashion, and home and kitchen needs to name a few.

The launch came with 90 percent discounts, and free shipping and returns.

According to its website, Temu provides free standard shipping on almost all orders. Shipping time ranges between 5-20 business days.

Note that if the item is delivered beyond the expected timeframe, Temu will issue a PHP 250 credit to the user’s account.

One of its local courier partners is J&T Express. It also has various payment options like GCash, PayPal, Visa, and Mastercard.

With the addition of the Philippines, Temu is now accessible in 38 countries.

You can check out and download the app on the App Store or Play Store.

Will you be using Temu for your new budols?
