Lenovo Legion Go launched!

For starters, the gaming handheld features a detachable controller with 4x face buttons, 4x directional pads, 2x hall effect joysticks, LT, LB, RT, RB, and 4 additional keys below the triggers for more controls. Moreover, you can spot the trackpads for precise aiming at shooting games or simply as a navigation tool like a mouse. While Lenovo also included a 6-axis gyro sensor and vibration feedback.

When it comes to the display, Lenovo went up a notch by bringing an 8.8-inch PureSight touchscreen(10-point) with up to 144Hz refresh rate, QHD+ 2560 x 1600 resolution, 97 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 500 nits of brightness and 16:10 aspect ratio.

Inside, it is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with AMD RDNA 3 graphics, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM (7500MHz), 256GB/512GB/1TB PCIE 4.0 NVMe M.2 2242 storage. By the way, this is also expandable up to 2TB  via the microSD card slot.

For battery, it has a 49.2WHr 2-cell battery with support to 65W Super Rapid Charge. Lenovo also talks about the bypass charging feature so it would protect the battery it is plugged in and playing.

Other features noted are the 2x 2W speakers, dual array near-field microphones, and a kickstand.

For I/O, the Legion Go uses 1x 3.5mm audio combo jack1 x USB Type-C (USB 4.0, DisplayPort 1.4, Power Delivery 3.0) and 1x microSD card reader for the top portion. At the bottom portion, you will find 1x USB Type-C (USB 4.0, DisplayPort 1.4, Power Delivery 3.0).

As for wireless connectivity, it has 2 x 2 WiFi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2.

For software, the device runs Windows 11 Home with Legion Space, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 3 months.

The sale will begin in November 2023. However, it is unclear when it will arrive in the Philippines or how much are the other storage variant of the handheld.
