New Jeans announced to perform "GODS" at LOL World Championship Anthem 2023

New Jeans to perform at League of Legends World Championship 2023!

The said tournament is one of the biggest and most prestigious Esports competitions and is also commonly referred to as "Worlds" for short.

It was announced by Riot Games yesterday that the global rising K-Pop sensation will sing the song titled "GODS".

The said song was written by Riot Games' main composer Sebastien Najan and Alex Seaver of Mako, whose co-writing credits include "Legends Never Die", "RISE", "Awaken" and multiple songs on the Arcane soundtrack. Fans may tune in on YouTube or grab the track anywhere they listen to music at 10pm PT on October 3/ 2pm KST on October 4.

The 2023 Worlds Music Video will trace the narrative of Korean pro player Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu from his introduction to League in high school to his incredible performance at Worlds 2022. This is the narrative of a team that surmounted all difficulties to become World Champions, not simply Deft and his unbreakable spirit

To recap, New Jeans comprises five members namely Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. In which the group made its debut last year July 22 under ADOR an independent label under HYBE led by Hee Jin Min.

New Jeans became instantly a hit and became the first K-Pop band to achieve a million-seller milestone with their debut album.

Their notable songs are Hype Boy, Ditto, OMG, Super Shy, ETA, and Cool With You. All of which became a hot sell in the world.
