OPPO A98 5G unveiled: SD695, 120Hz display, and 64MP main camera + 2MP microlens!

OPPO unveils the A98 5G smartphone in its PH website, featuring familiar mid-range hardware and a microlens zoom camera.

OPPO A98 unveiled!

To start, it comes with a 6.72-inch LTPS LCD screen with FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, and Panda Glass protection.

The display

Inside, it uses a 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with Adreno 619L GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

The features

When it comes to battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using a 67W SuperVOOC adaptor.

On the camera side, it uses a 64MP f/1.7 primary shooter + 2MP mono sensor + 2MP microscope sensor with up to 40x zoom.

Other features are the 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and side fingerprint sensor.

For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), NFC and dual SIM.

For OS, it runs Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 skin on top.

Unfortunately, there's no word yet about the pricing details as well as the availability.

Since it can be viewed now on OPPO Philippine's website, it's safe to assume that it's just around the corner.
