Apple Pencil with USB-C port launched, priced at PHP 4,990!

Apple just unveiled its newest version of Apple Pencil and has finally implemented the USB-C port.

Apple Pencil with USB-C, better late than never?

As its main spotlight, the new Apple Pencil can now be charged using a USB-C they also added a trick of hiding the port on a sliding cap. This is to make it seem to disappear when not in use.

The sliding function

It works similarly to the previous gens with its ability to write, sketch, draw, and such. However, it does not support wireless charging or pairing.

Apple retained the hover feature on the M2 iPad Pro versions and it can be attached to the iPad using its magnets when not in use.

Compatible with select iPads

The most notable absence is pressure sensitivity, which is available on both the original and second-generation Apple Pencil devices. Low latency for responsive input remains, as does tilt sensitivity for shadowing.

Anyways, the new Apple Pencil weighs 20.5 grams long and 7.5 x 155mm measurements.
