realme joins 200 million shipment club, aims to launch "premium" devices!
realme announced they were able to reach more than 200 million shipments of phones since the launch of the brand in 2018.

realme hits 200M shipments in 5 years!
The BKK-owned firm said they were able to do the achievement in the second quarter of this year. While they also added that realme was the fifth fast phone manufacturer to perform this milestone.
Based on the data provided by analytics firm Counterpoint Research, shows that only four smartphone makers have taken less time to ship the same number of units which are vivo, HUAWEI, Samsung, and Apple. In total, there are 14 companies right now that have shipped 200+ million phones.
We came into existence when there were over 700 smartphone brands in the world," said Xu Qi, realme's chief marketing officer. "We are extremely proud that we have been able to be in the world's top 10 brands for the past five years.
Counterpoint Research said, there were 700+ phone brands in 2017 and that count has plunged to 250 in September.
realme Chief Marketing Officer, Xu Qi said that the brand is now ready to take on the premium category of smartphones with its upcoming launch, the realme GT 5 Pro which the firm said will be one of the first devices to feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor alongside the new Sony Lytia image sensors.
