I tried to break the screen of HONOR X9b 5G, to launch in PH on January 12
The HONOR X9a last year is one of the most attractive phones for the price due to its overall specs, design, and proven durable display. The new HONOR X9b 5G promises to be even better and will go official in the Philippines on January 12, 2024.

According to HONOR, it has 360-degree whole-device protection that provides an all-round drop resistance for the screen. They said that it could survive 5ft drops, smash tests, and many more.
To put it to the test, we tried smashing the phone into walls quite hard, knee-high drop, and a solid 5-foot drop. Moreover, we tried using the phone to smash an apple, crush a clove of garlic, and even use it as a chopping board using a very sharp Japanese knife.
We even did some behind-the-scenes drops and the only damage we got is a minor dent on its upper-right corner.

On January 12, HONOR will even attempt to drop it at a height of 100ft.
To recap, the HONOR X9b 5G was first announced in China in October of 2023.
The device highlights a beautiful-looking Vegan Leather back design boasting a luxury watch-like overall craftsmanship. The durable display it is using is a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with 1.5K 2562 x 1200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 5-fold eye protection.
Under the hood, it is packed with the 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a massive 5,800mAh battery capacity with USB-C 35W SuperCharge tech.
For cameras, it has a large 108MP f/1.75 main camera, a 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. In front, it has a 16MP f/2.45 snapper.
There is no word regarding its pricing yet. So, make sure to stay tuned on its launch date.
