In case you missed it, vivo has introduced the Y100 5G featuring one of the newest entry-level chips from Qualcomm.
The phone features a modern chic design in Purple Orchid or Black Onyx colorways. You can also notice the large rectangular camera island which houses the three rear cameras and LED flash.
Inside, it is equipped with a 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU. It is paired with 8GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB memory configurations.
For battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using a USB-C cable and 80W flash charging.
For cameras, the phone features a 50MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and a flicker sensor + LED flash. On the selfie side, it has an 8MP shooter.
Another feature noted is the side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
Connectivity features are 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and dual SIM.
For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with FunTouch OS 14 skin on top.

The phone is currently listed on vivo's Indonesia website. No word yet if it will come to the Philippines. We will let you know once it is available.
