Google introduces Gemini as its new AI service!

As part of Google's responsible innovation toward AI, the American tech giant introduces Gemini as a replacement for Bard.

The idea behind Bard's Gemini name is to represent the cutting-edge technology that Google uses to power its chatbot or generative AI. Gemini is currently free to use in more than 230 countries and territories, including the Philippines, and available in more than 40 languages.

Meanwhile, Gemini Advanced is a subscription service powered by Ultra 1.0, Google's largest and most competent cutting-edge AI model to date. In blind assessments using third-party raters, Gemini Advanced is now the most popular chatbot among main competitors.

According to Google, Gemini Advanced excels at difficult tasks such as coding, logical reasoning, subtle directions, and creative collaboration. Furthermore, Gemini Advanced not only allows for longer, more complex talks, but it also recognizes context from earlier prompts.

As an example, Google says Gemini Advanced can be a personal tutor that builds step by step instructions, sample quizzes, or back-and-forth conversations based on the learning styles.

The tech company added that it can also assist with more complicated coding scenarios, acting as a sounding board for ideas and various coding methodologies. It may also help digital creators in transitioning from idea to creation by developing new material, reviewing recent trends, and thinking better ways to grow their audiences, among other things.

It is now available in the US as an app via Android or iOS and uses English language. Soon more users will be able to use it in more locations, countries, and different languages.
