The Redmi A3 is the company's newest budget phone boasting a fresh look and a few upgrades coming from its predecessor.

Key features of Redmi A3

The device now sports a fancier look at the back with a premium-looking halo design with a circular camera hump similar to several modern high-end smartphones today. It is available in Midnight Black and Lake Blue colorways and a new Olive Green version with a faux leather finish.

For specs, the device now features a slightly bigger 6.71-inch panel with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It also has a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ 1650 xx 720 resolution as well as a notch for the 5MP selfie shooter.

The device is powered by the same 2.2GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320 (680MHz) GPU. But now, it has up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage.

The battery is the same at 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C Type-C 10W regular charging.

For cameras, you get an 8MP f/2.0 shooter paired with an unspecified secondary camera.

You may also use your favorite wired headphones or earphones here as it has a 3.5mm headphone jack slot.
