Xiaomi's newest budget smartphone for the Philippine market is the Redmi A2+.
The new Redmi A2+ brings an upgraded 12nm MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz with PowerVR GE8320 (680MHz) GPU. In comparison, the Redmi A1 last year is only equipped with the quad-core Helio A22 chip.
Xiaomi also improved its 2GB + 32GB memory to 3GB + 64GB allowing its users to enjoy multitasking better and store more files.
For the rest of the specs, everything is nearly the same. It is still using the 6.52-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution with a notch for the 5MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery capacity, 10W micro USB charging, WiFi, 4G LTE, BT 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
Its back panel is still said to be resistant to fingerprint smudges and is comfortable to hold for a long period of time. It is available in Light Blue, Light Green, and Black.
