Grab DriveYourCar beta (driver hiring service) goes live in PH

Grab has recently introduced the public beta of its new professional driver-hiring service called Grab DriveYourCar through its mobile app.

Grab is offering Philippine-based car owners who find themselves in situations where they are unable to drive a service that allows them to hire professional drivers. These drivers are trained and vetted to ensure the Grab user's safety and comfort throughout the journey.

Grab DriveYourCar details

At present, Grab users can book the service up to one day in advance. The rides are insured with accident benefits up to PHP 500,000 and vehicle coverage up to PHP 50,000.

The service runs on a fixed and upfront pricing scheme:

• 4 Hours - Starts at PHP 890
• 8 Hours - PHP 1,490
• 12 Hours - PHP 1,990

Gas, Toll, and Parking fees are excluded from the rates.

A cancellation fee of only PHP 200 applies if you cancel two hours after booking the service. The service is currently only available within the National Capital Region.

How to book Grab DriveYourCar?

1. From the Grab homepage, tap Car, and tap the banner labeled 'Hire a driver to drive your car.'

2. Tap 'later' and choose your preferred schedule.

3. Input your pick-up location.

4. Select your preferred duration or how long you'll need your driver's services.

5. Double-check your details & tap Schedule Ride to confirm your booking.

6. You're all set. View your confirmed booking in the Activity section of the app.
