vivo introduces the S19 series. In this article, we will tackle the features of the Pro version.

vivo S19 Pro launched!

The vivo S19 Pro packs stylish back designs available in Black, White, and Green colorways.

At the front, it has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen w/ 1.5K 2800 x 1260 resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI- P3 color gamut, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside, it is powered by the 3.35GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ 4nm processor with Immortalis G715 GPU, 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

It also has a 5,500mAh battery with USB-C 80W fast charging support.

For cameras, the phone uses 50MP f/1.88 Sony IMX921, OIS + 8MP f/2.2 OV08D10 ultra-wide + 50MP f/1.85 Sony IMX816 2x telephoto portrait camera with up to 50x digital zoom. For selfies, it has a 50MP f/2.0 Samsung JN1 sensor with AF.

Other features are stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio certification and an IP68/69 rating for water and splash resistance.

Connectivity-wise, the phone has 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with OriginOS 4 skin on top.

The sale begins in China starting June 7, 2024. No word yet for a PH release. Judging from vivo's S series history, it may be introduced as another V series for the global market.
