Motorola Razr 50 Ultra launched: 4-inch cover screen, 6.9-inch main display, and SD 8s Gen 3!

Motorola unveils its latest flip-style foldable screen called the Razr 50 Ultra.

The phone features a clam-shell folding design available in Green and Orange colorways.

The main attraction is the improved and now bigger 4-inch cover pOLED screen with 1-165Hz LTPO refresh rate, 1272 x 1080 resolution, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The features

The primary display uses a 6.9-inch FlexView FHD+ pOLED LTPO screen with 1-165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit HDR10+, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 3,000nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision.

Inside, it is powered by a 3.0GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen octa-core chip with Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 storage, 4,000mAh battery with 44W USB-C Turbo charge, and 15W wireless charging.

For cameras, it has a 50MP main sensor with 1/1.95-inch size, f/1.79 aperture, and an OIS + 50MP 2MP telephoto camera + LED flash. For selfies, it has a 32MP f/2.4 camera.

Other features noted are the stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and IPX8 water-resistance rating.

For connectivity, it has 5G SA/NSA 4G dual VoLTE, WiFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz), MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 out of the box.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra 512GB - CNY 6,199 (around PHP 50.1K)

The phone is now available in China and the US. Other countries such as the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and APAC will have different availability. However, Motorola hasn't confirmed the exact date for now.
