Technology giant HUAWEI earlier confirmed that the FreeBuds 6i is coming to the Philippines on August 6, 2024.

HUAWEI FreeBuds 6i is coming
The HUAWEI FreeBuds 6i builds upon the success of the FreeBuds 5i by equipping it with a 50 percent more powerful 11mm quad-magnet dynamic driver. It has Hi-Res certification as well. The body is also IP54 rated for dust and water splash resistance making it a good companion when working out as well.

Moreover, the device has a new noise cancellation algorithm called the Intelligent Dynamic ANC that analyzes external noises and adjusts the noise cancellation automatically. The new buds include a noise-filtering chamber that efficiently filters mid and high-frequency voices and sounds.
It connects via Bluetooth 5.3. It works on EMUI 10 and older as well as Android and iOS devices. Android users may also download AI Life from the App Gallery for additional control choices like noise cancellation type and gesture controls.
In addition, it has a larger battery at 510mAh, a 25 percent increase from last year's version. Meanwhile, the capacity per earbud remains 55mAh each. With ANC off, it can last up to 8 hours per earbud. With ANC on, it can last for about 5 hours.
HUAWEI said that those who pre-order the device at Shopee will get a PHP 1,000 voucher. The voucher is redeemable from August 7 to 8.
It will also be available at 0 percent interest for up to 3 months with SPayLater.
There is no word on its official price tag yet. Normally, the FreeBuds "i" audio devices are priced in the under PHP 5K range.
