realme GT6 (China) announced: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, up to 1TB storage, 50MP Sony IMX 890!

realme has announced a China variant of the GT6 with some slight changes in the processor and cameras.

It is mostly the same as the PH variant. The difference we notice is that this realme GT6 in China comes with a stronger 3.3GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead of the 8s Gen 3.

Another we noticed is that realme replaced the main sensor with a 50MP Sony IMX890 instead of the LYT-808 sensor. It retained the 8MP ultra-wide camera however, the 50MP 2x telephoto was removed here.

The rest are pretty much the same such as the 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz 8T LTPO AMOLED screen with 6,000 nits brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 2160Hz PWM dimming, In-Display fingerprint sensor and 16MP front camera.

Inside, the SD8G3 chip is paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.

There's also a slight change in the battery, as it has now increased to 5,800mAh from 5,500mAh but the charging speed is retained at 120W SUPERVOOC.

Other features noted are Hi-Res stereo speakers, IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, and Iceberg 3D Tempered Vapor Chamber cooling covering a 10,014mm2 area to dissipate the phone's heat and keep the temperature low on peak usage.

Connectivity-wise, the phone has 5G, 4G, WiFi 6(2.4G/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and dual SIM. realme also boasts the addition of the Antenna Array Matrix System which provides the phone to virtually not lose signal no matter how it is held when in use.

For software, the phone runs Android 14 with realmeUI 5.0 skin on top.

realme GT6 (China) 16GB/256GB - CNY 3,099 (around PHP 24.9K)

realme GT6 (China) 16GB/512GB - CNY 3,399 (around PHP 27.3K)

realme GT6 (China) 16GB/1TB - CNY 3,899 (around PHP 31.3K)

It is now available in China. Meanwhile, this variant won't likely be released here since PH has a different version already.
