Pixel 9 Pro Fold unfolds completely flat?

In late July, 91Mobiles and OnLeaks posted alleged press renders of the yet-to-be-announced folding smartphone from Google in Obsidian and Porcelain colorways. If true, the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold will allegedly have a wider aspect ratio with a taller cover screen and a large inner folding screen. The previous Pixel Fold has a 17.4:9 cover screen aspect ratio and a 6:5 inner screen aspect ratio.

In contrast to the previous generation's one long horizontal camera module, the new model comes with a square module with two oval-shaped smaller camera modules and an LED flash.

On the right side are the volume rocker and power button while on the left is the new hinge that allegedly will allow the phone to unfold flat or a full 180 degrees.

Previous reports claim that the upcoming Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have a 6.3-inch cover screen and an 8-inch Super Actua Flex display. Inside is the Google Tensor G4 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, and integration with Google Gemini AI.

The phone could come with a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera.

Now in early August, OnLeaks and Android Headlines have posted what appears could be the promotional video of the upcoming foldable where the video reveals the thickness and the ability of the phone to unfold completely flat.

Android Headlines says that Google may have worked with BBK to make the hinge much more similar to the OnePlus Open.

Take this information with a grain of salt until Google's official announcement as this information has yet to be confirmed.
