Sony ZV-E10 II is now official in the Philippines including its price and kit lens.
To recap, this is the 2nd generation of Sony's compact mirrorless camera which features a 26MP sensor. This is the same sensor you would find from the Sony FX30 and a6700.
According to Sony, it brings various improvements from the 1st generation such as having faster performance and compatibility with Sony's small cine-focused cameras. There's also the Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5mm-5.6 OSS II lens which is an obvious upgrade from the former Sony APS-C kit lens.
Going back to its sensor, the 26MP APS-C Exmore R CMOS, lets users capture UHD 4K 60 fps and FHD 120 fps video.
It also comes with a 3-inch touchscreen LCD with vertical support and rapid hybrid phase detection with up to 759 points. Moreover, the upgraded camera boasts Real-Time Eye AF and tracking, backdrop defocus, focus breathing correction, a directional 3-capsule microphone, and a windscreen.
The device also highlights the new BIONZ XR processor that can bring up to 8x faster performance than the previous version. Sony says the ZV-E10 II can keep up with its top-performing APS-C cameras.
The smartphone also has up to 30 percent greater battery life and performance than the original model. Sony said that the camera may record continuously for a full day.
Finally, it is paired with a 16-55mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II kit zoom, which provides a 24-75mm equivalent range to suit different scenarios.
It boasts fast focusing and uses the OSS to produce sharper images. The new lens is lighter than the previous generation and provides improved image stabilization and focus when shooting. It is also possible to focus and zoom while taking a photograph.
