HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 launched: 144Hz dual-layer OLED, up to 1TB storage, 100W fast charging

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 launched!
The newest feature here is HUAWEI's most advanced screen technology yet which is the double-layer OLED panel. The brand explained that this tech improves the lifespan of the screen three-fold and brings 33 percent more efficiency to power draws.
The screen features a 12.2-inch size with 2.8K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness, 3:2 aspect ratio, and P3 wide color gamut. It also has a 2000000:1 contrast ratio and delta E < 1 color accuracy.

The display also has a PaperMatte technology option and supports the 3rd-generation M-Pencil pen with ultra-low latency. For drawing, it has the Fangtian Painting Engine 2.0, which supports an 8K canvas and 500+ layers while retaining clean strokes at 120 fps.

When it comes to the chip and battery, HUAWEI has kept silent about it but it is presumed to feature a tweaked variant of Kirin 9010 from the Pura 70 Series. It is also paired with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage, and a 10,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
The tablet also boasts a 13MP f/1.8 main shooter with AF + 8MP wide-angle camera and 8MP front camera.
Other features are a side fingerprint reader, quad speakers, and microphones with HUAWEI Sound.
For connectivity, it has WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, and QZSS.
For OS, the tablet runs HarmonyOS 4.2. It also features AI helpers like the Celia app, Celia Document Assistant, AI Writing Tool, Celia Info Assistant, and AI Tools for Notes.
