POCO M6 Plus 5G launched: SD4G2 AE, 120Hz display, 108MP main cam

POCO has introduced the M6 Plus 5G as an additional device to the M6 Series.

POCO M6 Plus 5G is now official

The handset appeared in a dual-tone back panel with its upper portion having a darker hue while the below will have a lighter accent. Anyways, it comes in Misty Lavender, Ice Silver, and Graphite Black colorways.

In front, it uses a 6.79-inch LCD (IPS) screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 550 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass although POCO did not specify which version it is using. Furthermore, the display also houses a 13MP selfie camera.

Inside, the phone is powered by 2.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Advanced Edition with Adreno GPU, 6GB or 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage.

For battery, it uses 5,030mAh capacity which charges using 33W power brick.

In terms of cameras, the phone uses a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 main shooter with f/1.75 aperture and is coupled with a 2MP macro camera.

Other features noted are an IP53 rating for dust and water resistance, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and dual SIM support.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with HyperOS skin on top.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

POCO M6 Plus 5G 6GB/128GB - INR 13,499 (around PHP 9.4K)

POCO M6 Plus 5G 8GB/128GB - INR  14,499 (around PHP 10.1K)

It is currently sold in India via Flipkart and local retail stores. POCO hasn't mentioned the availability yet for other markets.
