realme C61 arrives in PH: Drop resistance, 6.7-inch 90Hz screen, PHP 6,299 intro price

realme Philippines earlier released its newest entry-level offering in the country called the C61.

Don't be confused, the realme C61 PH is a little different from the one with a similar name announced in India.

The PH version uses a different design called Sparkle Design with a "checkered texture of fabrics" and an iPhone-inspired camera island.

realme also said that it has an IP54 rating for dust and water splash resistance as well as drop resistance to prevent damage when accidentally dropped.

In front, it uses a 6.74-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, Rainwater Smart Touch, and eye comfort mode. It has a notch housing the 5MP selfie camera and Air Gestures support. There is also a Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule 2.0 for notifications and more.

Key features of realme C61 PH

Inside, it is powered by the 12nm UNISOC T612 octa-core processor with up to 8GB RAM (up to 24GB Dynamic RAM Expansion), 128GB or 256GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 15W Quick Charge.

According to realme, it can run up to 18 apps in the background and can last up to 16.6 hours of video playback.

It also has a 50MP AI Camera with f/1.8 aperture, AI Noise Reduction for Calls, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The fingerprint scanner/power button also works as a "Dynamic Button" that could be used as a toggle to open the Flashlight, Mute Toggle, and Camera.

For software, it runs with Android 14 OS with realme UI out of the box.

The device also has 48th Month Fluency Certification to ensure its long-term smoothness and up to 4 years of good battery health.

At TikTok Shop, the 8GB/256GB variant will be priced at just PHP 6,299 until September 30. It'll also come with a FREE TechLife Power Bank S101 10000mAh worth PHP 799 while stocks last.
