Apart from the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, Apple also revealed the variants iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
These devices get the new A18 SoC (6-core) with Apple Intelligence, the brand's term for its own AI integration.
The 3nm chip comes with 2x performance cores and 4x efficiency cores. It also has a 5-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine for AI tasks.
When it comes to the display, the iPhone 16 boasts a 6.1-inch 2556 x 1179 Super Retina XDR screen, up to 2000 nits peak brightness, HDR, True Tone, and Ceramic Shield protection.
The iPhone 16 Plus comes with a 6.7-inch 2796 x 1290 Super Retinea XDR screen with up to 2K nits peak brightness, HDR, True Tone, and Ceramic Shield protection.
These devices sport 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.
They also boast up to 22 hours (iPhone 16) or 27 hours (iPhone 16 Plus) battery life at least based on Apple's video playback test. To charge them you can use the 25W or 30W adapters, respectively.
For cameras, the devices sport 48MP f/1.6 2nd-gen sensor shift OIS, 2x telephoto + 12MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide.
For selfies, they are equipped with 12MP f/1.9 TrueDepth with AF and Focus Pixels, and Retina Flash.
It's also worth noting that Apple finally brought the "Action Button" which was previously exclusive on Pro and Max models.
The said feature allows users to control silent mode, Focus, Camera, Flashlight, Voice memo, Recognise Music, Transalte, Magnifier, Controls, Shortcut, or accessibility.
Connectivity-wise, these iPhones come with 5G 4x4 MIMO, 4G LTE, WiFi 7 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, 2nd gen Ultra Wideband chip for spatial awareness, Thread networking technology, NFC with reader mode, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and Beidou.
For OS, the two devices run iOS 18.
