HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2" is now official in PH w/ attractive freebies!

This tablet from HUAWEI promises to offer a PC-level-like experience alongside elegant aesthetics.

The back of the device comes with a Golden Silk rear design made from ultra-thin, aviation-grade glass fiber which is intricately polished to deliver the same look and feel of silk. It also comes with a 5.5mm thin body and only weighs 512g for portability

A display that feels like a paper

The device boasts a 12.2-inch Dual-OLED with a PaperMatte display, 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 2,000 nits, 1.07 billion colors, P3 wide color gamut, Delta E < 1 color accuracy, and a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The screen comes with a 3rd Gen HUAWEI M-Pencil with 10,000 pressure-sensing levels for enhanced accuracy, latency, and sensitivity.

At the helm, it is powered by a Kirin T91 8-core chip, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage.

It also has a 10,100mAh battery with 100W Turbo Charge. HUAWEI claims it can last up to 14 hours of video playback and provide 85 percent battery in just 40 minutes of charging. The Smart Power Conserve Feature supports a standby time of up to 380 days.

For cameras, it has 13MP f/1.8 AF + 8MP f/2.2 wide angle + LED flash. For selfies, it has an 8MP front camera.

Other features are a fingerprint scanner, quad speakers, microphones, and HUAWEI Sound tuning.

Connectivity-wise it has WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.

For OS, it runs Harmony 4.2 out of the box.

HUAWEI also boasts upgraded creativity using the GoPaint App which it claimed is on par with PC experience. The said app is a professional-grade yet user-friendly painting tool made for artists of all levels with vast guides and tutorials from the China Academy of Art.

It utilizes sophisticated hardware to offer features such as a Professional Brush Engine, equipped with tools like Fluid, Splatter, and Dual-effect brushes, accommodating over 150 brush settings and exceeding 10,000 pressure levels with the 3rd generation HUAWEI M-Pencil.

HUAWEI says using the Fluid brushes mimics the blending of ink and watercolor on screen, and Splatter brushes offer fun, artistic effects. Users can craft custom brushes and experience a range of lifelike canvas textures, such as silk and watercolor. The application runs on FangTian Painting Engine 2.0, which supports 8K ultra-large canvases and up to 500 layers, enhancing rendering and speed for uninterrupted creativity. Tools like the Magic Wand selector, grid points, and layer locator enhance the efficiency of the workflow.
