REDMAGIC Nova gaming tablet: SD8G3, 144Hz 10.9-inch LCD, 4x speakers

REDMAGIC has announced its next gaming tablet bringing the latest hardware and improved cooling.

The new tablet sports a 10.9-inch LCD screen with 2.8K 2880 x 1800 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, and SGS eye protection certification.

The features

Inside, it is powered by the 3.4GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version with Adreno GPU. It is paired with 12GB/16GB/24GB LPDDR5X RAM, and  256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

The device also boasts a large 10,100mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

For the camera, it uses a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 while on the selfie side, it uses a 20MP OmniVision OV20B40 sensor.

Other features noted are the 4x speakers, 3x microphones, and fingerprint sensor. 

The new Pad Magic Cooling ICE 2.0

Another standout feature is the Pad Magic Cooling ICE 2.0. To ensure the powerful hardware operates efficiently, REDMAGIC has developed a nine-layer passive cooling system complemented by an active cooling fan that spins at 20,000 RPM.

Connectivity features are WiFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.

For OS, the tablet runs Android 14 with REDMAGIC OS 9.5 skin on top.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

REDMAGIC Nova 12GB/256GB - CNY 3,999 (around PHP 31.5K)

REDMAGIC Nova 16GB/512GB - CNY 4,499 (around PHP 35.4K)

REDMAGIC Nova 24GB/1TB - CNY 5,599 (around PHP 44.1K)

It is currently only available in China but will be available in other markets soon too.
