HUAWEI reveals the nova 13 and nova 13 Pro bringing incremental upgrades.
Both devices sport a crisis cross-diamond pattern on the back. They come with an oval-shaped and circle camera island with intricate "nova" engraving.
The nova 13 uses a 6.7-inch OLED panel with 2412 x 1084 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and an In-Display fingerprint sensor.
The nova 13 Pro sports a slightly larger 6.76-inch 2776 x 1224 resolution with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate and 2,160Hz PWM dimming, and an In-Display fingerprint scanner.
Unfortunately, HUAWEI has stayed silent on both the device's processors but they come with 256GB/512GB/1TB storage options.
Both batteries have a 5,000mAh capacity and charge using a 100W USB-C fast charger.
In the imaging section, the regular nova 13 uses a 50MP f/1.9 main camera + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide and 60MP f/2.4 selfie camera.
Meanwhile the nova 13 Pro uses a 50MP main camera with f/1.4 to f/4.0 variable aperture + 12MP 3x telephoto camera + 8MP ultra-wide. For selfies, it uses the same 60MP but with an additional 8MP 5x zoom portrait camera.
Other features are an IP65 dust and splash resistance rating which means it can handle some levels of splashes or sweat or raindrops.
Connectivity-wise, it is not mentioned if they have 5G, but they have 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.
For OS, both run HarmonyOS 4.2 out of the box.
