ASUS finally brought the Vivobook S 14 (S506SA) in the Philippines featuring Copilot+ and Intel AI chip.
This is a much more affordable AI-powered laptop compared to the Zenbook S 14 (UX506) we covered last month with an almost PHP 110K price tag. As you can see that's at least PHP 27K price difference.
It comes in a sleek and minimalist Neutral Black or Mist Blue body with a silhouette of the "ASUS VIVOBOOK" logo on top. Another highlight is the MIL-STD 810 H durability rating plus it also has a 1.3kg weight.
The device also features a 14-inc WUXGA OLED Lumina display with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified, and 16:10 aspect ratio.
Inside, the laptop is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with AI Boost NPU and Intel Evo. There's also the Intel Arc-based graphics for its iGPU.
The new version also uses 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and a 75WHr battery and charges using a USB-C 65W power brick.
It uses an FHD IR web camera with Windows Hello, a Backlit keyboard, a built-in speaker with Harman Kardon tuning, a microphone, and a built-in array microphone.
For ports, it has 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x 3.5mm audio jack, 1x microSD card reader.
Wireless connectivity is WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
For OS, the laptop runs Windows 11 Home with Microsoft Office Home 2024, and Microsoft 365 Basic.
