Not only for transportation
AF Payments, Inc., the company behind the beep card, has partnered with GHL Systems Philippines, a payment service provider and payment acquirer, to allow the said mode of payment usually used in LRT and MRT to be accepted across all GHL-operated payment terminals.
This means that GHL partners will now accept the beep card for payment.
By making transactions more convenient and accelerating the shift towards cashless payments, we are taking a significant step forward in our mission to elevate the digital payment landscape in the Philippines, said AF Payments, Inc. President and CEO Jonathan Juan Moreno.
beep card is available for purchase in LRT 1, LRT 2, and MRT 3 stations, select convenience stores, and retail outlets and online via the official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
In 2025, beep is targeting to further expand. AF Payments is planning to significantly grow its partner network with the aim of processing 3 billion transactions (in volume) by next year.
