8,000mAh on OPPO and OnePlus phones in the future?

Major leap in battery performance on slim flagship phones next year?

According to legendary leaker Digital Chat Station, the Ouga Lab (research and development facility of OPPO and OnePlus) is currently testing a new silicon-carbon (SiC) battery with 8,000mAh capacity (15 percent silicon content).

In comparison, it is even bigger than the 6,100mAh battery of the Ace 3 Pro and the 7,000mAh of the realme Neo7 SE.

Moreover, it could be charged via USB-C with OPPO's SUPERVOOC safe fast charging solution.

Speculations points that that the group might use the battery on future flagship models like the Find X Series. This year, both OnePlus 13 and Find X8 Pro used bigger than usual batteries than the competition.

One advantage of this is its users might experience way longer battery performance and might not even need to bring a battery pack for more than a day.

Anyway, this is an exciting development if true.

We'll keep an eye on this and will update you guys as soon as we get new information.
