Xiaomi 15 launched in PH: SD 8 Elite, 3x 50MP cameras with LEICA Summilux lens, starts at PHP 45,999

After the global launch, Xiaomi now brings the Xiaomi 15 to the Philippines.

Small outside, a beast inside

To recall, this will be Xiaomi's top tier smartphone for 2025 that is available in the country. It starts with having a flagship-level camera, processor, stunning display, and among others.

In terms of design, it boasts a compact size, weight, a height of just 152.3mm, a slim figure at 8.08 and weighs just 181 grams.

The Xiaomi 15's display

The phone features a 6.36-inch 12-bit AMOLED screen with 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 2670 x 1200 resolution, 3,200 nits peak brightness. Underneath the display, it has an Ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and while at the top you can find the center punch-hole bearing the 32MP selfie camera with up to 4k 60fps video recording support.

Inside, the Xiaomi 15 is equipped with 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with a new-generation Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options.

Powering the device is a 5,240mAh battery, which is a bit lower compared to the China model with 5,400mAh. Still, it retained the 90W fast charging + 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The cameras

Now for the main part, Xiaomi boasts the phone uses the "pinnacle of camera systems". It is equipped with 50MP Light Fusion 900 main camera with Hyper OIS + 50MP ultra-wide sensor + 50MP 2.6 telephoto camera with OIS + Leica Summilux lens + LED flash. All of which uses the LEICA Summilux lens, which should provide top-tier photography on the go.

Other features are stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos sound, 4x microphones.

Connectivity-features are 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz), GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2 out of the box.
