HONOR Pad GT launched: 11.5" 2.8K LCD, Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition, 10,100mAh battery

Apart from the HONOR GT Pro and X60 GT, the brand also unveiled the HONOR Pad GT.

The tablet's design

A powerful gaming tablet

The tablet boasts a sleek design with a 6.12mm measurement and comes with wear-resistance, an anti-fouling surface for durability and comfort. It also has a lightweight all-metal body weighing 480g. Moreover, it comes in White and Blue color options.

In front, it uses an 11.5-inch LCD with 2.8K 2800 x 1840 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1.07B colors, and 500 nits peak brightness. The display also features IMAX Enhanced compatibility, AI-powered Defocus Eye Protection, Natural Light Eye Protection, a Sleep Aid mode, DC Dimming, and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for flicker-free and low blue light performance.

The HONOR Pad GT features

Inside, the tablet is powered by the 4nm Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition with Mali-G615 GPU and is enhanced by HONOR Turbo X for optimized gaming performance. 

This smart system enhances gaming performance by anticipating potential lag, optimizing resource distribution, and leveraging asynchronous computing for seamless, uninterrupted gameplay.

The advanced cooling system boasts a massive 22,000 mm² heat dissipation area and 50 percent enhanced graphite thermal conductivity, effectively lowering the SOC temperature by up to 10°C under heavy loads.

The chip is paired with 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage, and a massive 10,100mAh battery and 66W fast charging.

At the back, it has a 13MP rear camera while there's also an 8MP sensor for selfies at the front.

On the audio front, an eight-speaker system delivers precise spatial positioning with deep bass and crisp highs for truly immersive sound. The tablet enhances gameplay with keyboard and mouse mapping support, optimized for over 18 popular titles to replicate a PC gaming feel. It also seamlessly connects with mainstream game controllers for flexible play styles.

Connectivity features are WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2 with BLE, SBC, AAC, LDAC, and aptX codec support.

For OS, the tablet runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 skin on top.

It is currently available only in China. There's no information yet if HONOR will bring the tablet here in the Philippines. We will let you know once we hear from them. What do you guys think?
