An innovative way of doing charity work digitally

This will be the new sustainability masterbrand, consolidating all of Globe's environmental and social impact programs under a single platform.

According to the telco, sustainability has long been integral to Globe's operations, guiding initiatives in digital inclusion, climate-conscious practices, and community development. With Globe of Good, the company aims to make its sustainability efforts more accessible and engaging, encouraging customers, employees, and partners to participate in creating lasting positive change.

The launch featured two business-led programs that reflect this commitment: Globe Prepaid's GoGIVE and Globe Platinum's Gastronome Giving Series.

Created in partnership with Fine Dining Club Philippines, Gastronome Giving Series showcases Filipino culinary talent while raising funds for Globe's Hapag Movement, which tackles involuntary hunger.

Gastronome Giving allows us to connect fine dining with purposeful action, said Mark Pasaylo, Head of Globe Platinum. It demonstrates how different sectors can work together to help address involuntary hunger affecting millions of Filipinos.

Globe Platinum customers can reserve tables at participating restaurants, including Roots (Siargao), Anzani (Cebu), Mrs. Saldo's (Silang, Cavite), Taupe Dining (BGC), Goxo (Salcedo - Makati), and Kasa Palma (Poblacion - Makati). Reservations are also available via THEA, Globe Platinum's 24/7 digital assistant.

Meanwhile, GoGIVE, a digital platform within the GlobeOne app, allows users to convert data usage into donations for non-government organizations by earning and donating "hearts."

Through GoGIVE, we are transforming data into a force for good. This platform offers a fresh and convenient way to give back to the community, especially for digital natives, said Givielle Florida, Head of Globe Prepaid.

Furthermore, Globe also shared that its sustainability efforts were recently recognized by research firm Standard Insights, which named it the "Most Sustainable Mobile Network and Most Active Mobile Network for the Environment in the Philippines". The accolades highlight Globe's leadership in responsible business practices.
