vivo Y29 launch date in the Philippines confirmed
In particular, the company will introduce the successor to the Y28, obviously called vivo Y29, in the country on May 31, 2025.  |

vivo claims that it is a "stylish" smartphone with premium "flagship-level" aesthetics designed for students, young professionals, and content creators on the go at an affordable price tag.
It is available in Marble White and Espresso Brown colorways with a quad-curved back cover. The phone is also slim at 8.09 mm and lightweight at 205 grams.
The device also has the Dynamic Light effect with animated light effects that flash when you get calls, snap photos, and listen to favorite songs.
The company has yet to reveal the exact specs of the vivo Y29 for the Philippine market.

If that's the case, it'll come with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, Schott glass-protected 6.68-inch LCD IPS 120Hz HD+ resolution, 6nm Snapdragon 685 chip, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, a large 6,500mAh battery with USB-C 44W fast charging, and alarge VC cooling area.
The handset will also feature a 50MP f/1.8 main camera + 2MP f/2.4 auxiliary sensor + LED flash. For selfies, it sports an 8MP f/2.0 camera.
The device might also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with 400 percent volume, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual SIM, and Android 15 OS with Funtouch OS 15 skin.
