vivo Y29 4G launched: Anti-Drop Armor, SD685 chip, 6,500mAh battery

Following the announcement of vivo Y29 5G, the brand also introduced a 4G version.

vivo Y29 gets a 4G model

The phone uses a Noble Brown color and a more fancy look with the Elegant White model. Among its highlight features are the Anti-Drop Armor design made to give the device some shock resistance and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. Moreover, it has MILD-STD-810H certification as well.

In front, it has a 6.68-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 1608 x 720 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Schott glass protection.

The design

Inside, it is powered by the 2.8GHz 6nm Snapdragon 685 octa-core chip with Adreno 610 GPU, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB or 256GB internal memory.

For battery, the phone gets a bigger size at 6,500mAh capacity and charges using a 44W USB-C fast charger.

Camera-wise, it uses 50MP f/1.8 main shooter + 2MP f/2.4 auxiliary sensor + LED flash. On the selfie side, it has an 8MP f/2.0 camera.

Other features noted are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with 400 percent volume, and a large VC cooling area.

Connectivity-wise, it has 4G LTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 skin on top.

Bangladesh price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo Y29 4G - starts at BDT 19,999 (around PHP 9.5K).
