South Korean tech giant LG last week launched and showcased its 2025 line of AI Smart TVs at the Manila Museum in the Philippines.

2025 LG AI TV lineup arrives in PH
It's the company's 2025 TV lineup, boasting powerful AI, smart features, and immersive displays to fit the lifestyle of its users.
According to the company, these latest TVs deliver a major leap in performance, personalization, and everyday convenience thanks to their advanced display technology, refined user interface powered by enhanced processing, next-level IA performance, and intuitive controls.
It includes the new LG OLED AI B5, designed to deliver lifelike colors and richer hues for a more natural viewing experience.

The company also introduced the LG OLED evo AI C5 enhances brightness with its new Brightness Booster for clearer, more vibrant scenes.
On the other hand, they also showcased the new LG evo AI G5 offers exceptional clarity and immersive visuals in a sleek and premium design.
Apart from its premium OLED models, LG also highlighted its new LG QNED evo AI. These TVs impress with Dynamic QNED Color, up to a 100-inch screen size option, and ultra-slim design.

At the heart of the new LG 2025 TVs are its latest lineup of α-series AI processors: α11 AI Processor Gen2, α9 AI Processor Gen8, and α8 AI Processor Gen2, each designed to deliver a smarter, more immersive viewing experience.
LG explains that the α11 AI Processor Gen2 brings the most powerful performance for fast-paced content and premium entertainment. Meanwhile, the α9 AI Processor Gen8 delivers incredibly clear and lifelike picture quality. The α8 AI Processor Gen2 ensures smooth and reliable everyday viewing.
These processors allow the TV to enjoy intelligent upscaling, adaptive sound, and content recommendations.
The company added that it has real-time learning, voice recognition, and accurate content recommendations that evolve over time.
Its new Voice ID feature also recognizes individual users without the need for manual profile switching.
For example, the user could say "Show me action movies" to let the TV curate content tailored to their viewing preferences. It also has support for user profiles, customizable Quick Cards, app prioritization, and an intuitive AI Concierge that responds to your lifestyle.
For AI, the company introduces the AI Picture Pro technology that maps each scene in three dimensions while fine-tuning contrast and detail for incredibly lifelike visuals. It also has the AI Sound Pro, which adapts audio in real-time to let the user experience rich and immersive cinematic sound.

The new remote has the AI button moved front and center for easier access, replacing the previous mic button.

According to the company, a simple press of it greets users with a personalized welcome and suggests relevant keywords based on their habits and environment.
Meanwhile, the new Home button replaces the usual Input button. It provides quick access to the Home Hub for effortless management of all your connected devices.
The remote retains the familiar point, click, and scroll functions. The AI Magic Remote also streamlines control across all your devices.
For troubleshooting, LG added an improved AI Chatbot. The company said that it is now smarter and can easily distinguish between content requests and technical issues. A long press of the AI button and describe a problem, such as "My TV turns on by itself," and the system quickly scans relevant settings to provide real-time troubleshooting tips, making solutions effortless and quick.

LG also continues its partnership with the National Museum.

The new display units also featured "FRAGMENTS," by Isaiah Cacnio inspired by the Philippines' geological heritage. It will be on display at Ayala Hall on the 3/F of the National Museum Natural History building for a month, starting June 12, Philippine Independence Day.
