REDMAGIC has officially unveiled its Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, touted as the industry’s first small-sized OLED gaming tablet, combining high-end hardware with gaming-focused optimizations.

The tablet is available in two finishes: Eclipse Black and Starfrost Silver, featuring a sleek design tailored for gamers.

In front, it uses a 9.06-inch OLED display with 4.9mm ultra-slim bezels, achieving a 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The screen also boasts a 2400 x 1504 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, 5280Hz PWM dimming, 1600 peak brightness, and has TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free performance.

Inside, the tablet runs on the 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite 8-core chip with Adreno GPU

It also has Red Core R3 Pro co-processor for gaming enhancements. 

The chip is paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5T RAM (9600Mbps) and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage. 

Meanwhile, the tablet's thermals are handled by the ICE 3.0 cooling system, which integrates a sandwich VC structure, liquid metal 2.0, and an active turbo fan to maintain peak performance.

The features

Power comes from an 8,200mAh battery with USB-C 80W fast charging, capable of reaching 50 percent charge in 22 minutes. The device also supports bypass charging to minimize heat during prolonged gaming.

For cameras, the tablet is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 9MP front-facing camera, catering to casual photography, video calls, and streaming.

Other features mentioned are the dual super-linear speakers and dual X-axis linear motors for precise haptic feedback.

Connectivity options span NFC, a fingerprint sensor, and wired/wireless low-latency casting. 

Furthermore, the REDMAGIC Tablet 3 Pro runs on REDMAGIC OS 10.5. 

Finally, it also has Cube Game Engine for performance optimization, a PC emulator for local PC gaming, the Super Workbench productivity suite, and the AI-powered Magic Companion 2.0 assistant.

The device is now available in China. It will launch globally soon with a different name, "REDMAGIC Astra Gaming Tablet," on July 1.
